What does Nationals mean?

It means that from May 25th-28th, Fever is going to be representing THE Ohio State University out in Boulder, CO.

It means that Fever is one of the top College Womens Ultimate teams in the nation.

It means that Fever has the chance to compete in College Ultimate's most prestigious tournament and fight for the College Championship.

It means that Fever's season is far from over, and we are entering a crucial period of training and work.

It means that we need YOUR help.

How can I help?

Of course, the most important thing is your continued encouragement and support, but there is another way for you to make a concrete difference on our team!

Your donations go to pay for the individual tournament cost each player must pay, lodging, and flight tickets. Fever placed FIRST OVERALL at the Ohio Valley Regionals, going undefeated with an impressive 8-0 record for the weekend and clinching their region's single bid to NATIONALS in Boulder, CO.

TEAM NOTES

A note from our coach, Snaps, as we prepare for Nationals:

Fever,

Amazing job this weekend ladies! It was incredible to be a part of it all. It was very clear that you wanted it more than any other team out there.

The sideline presence was absolutely incredible. You truly were the 8th man and I could tell it affected the players on the field.

Second of all our man defense was spectacular! We discussed the importance of the mark and close defense before and you guys followed through. Our marks were far better than I've ever seen and on defense everyone was hungry for a D in those final two games. You saw what was yours and you took it. Amazing!

Everyone played well this weekend and I mean that literally. Every single player contributed on and off the field and that is why we were successful.

That all being said, I am extremely proud of this team but we've got plenty more to go. Keep that focus throughout these next few weeks of practice and into Memorial weekend. We aren't done yet. If everyone continues to contribute in the way they did this past weekend we will turn some heads at nationals.
